Perhaps due to the low market demand with possible reason that no one wants to build and paint old school gun kits anymore whereas there are tons of ready built and beautifully finished BB soft airguns and gas guns on the market. They are not easy to find even in Japan and can be very expensive but I love the challenge to hunt and get one by one in good price and condition and I am very happy to add this one finally to my vintage plastic kit collection. Operating and maintaining this pistol is fairly straight forward, if you have any questions the supplied documentation should clear up any questions. It shoots straight up to around 50 feet, after that there is a little inconsistent wander of the projectile that I suspect may be due to a quality control issue with the ammunition manufacturer. Another concern I have is that the safety is inconsistent and should not be trusted. It's hard to tell if it's on and sometimes when it looks like it is set to on the gun can still be fired. Best to use universal precautions and consider the gun is always loaded and ready to fire. I noticed a similar product for sale for quite a bit less and discovered it was constructed of mostly plastic parts. Sounds cheap and will never match the look or feel of this pistol. The only plastic part on my air gun that gives me concern is the compression bolt in the butt of the handle that, when screwed in, tightens to pierce the CO2 cartridge and hold it in place. I think this is a well used part that will wear out and to me that is an engineering oversight and I hope an all metal part will be manufactured in the future. Co2 cartridges and ammunition are readily available locally at a cost that won't hurt your wallet. This firearm has been fun to shoot and to own. I expect that when the maintenance schedules and care guidelines are adhered to this product will perform well and provide many years of plinking enjoyment.Only one issue so far. I'm not pleased with the cylinder operation. Very loose fitting, and sloppy. There is no instructions concerning bb fit.I have put approx. 300 rounds through gun, and it seems to become more accurate as I add up the rounds. By the time I reach a thousand rounds it will be super accurate.lol All joking aside, this is a very accurate gun considering how it works.

I must say, I really like this one a lot. It's really fun to shoot because it's got a nice weight and feel due to its metal build. I find it to be very accurate with an excellent single action trigger; the double action is actually not that bad either. The only thing I'm not totally in love with are the grips because they feel a little hollow to me; they're not horrible but could be better. I don't even use the included speed loader because I enjoy loading the single shells so much. Highly recommended.I have only used it for maybe 25 sessions or less. The hammer can no longer do double action and the head of the hammer feels as if it wants to break off of the base. Single action doesn't strike the hammer hard enough to release CO2 anymore so the gun is essentially useless. I don't know of any ways to re-affix the hammer head to the base so I guess I am SOL.It works great, too.! One of the best features of this awesome BB version is the accuracy. Having an adjustable sight, this gun delivers tight groups at 5 meters. It probably is the most accurate BB gun of my collection. The CO2 performance is also quite good, with 7 or 8 reloads per cylinder; which means, that having plenty of spare casings and a few speedloaders is a great idea. Trigger pull is on the heavy side for double action shooting, but don't dismay, you can always shoot single action for better accuracy. For revolver lovers, this classic six-shooter is an absolute beauty and no collection would be complete without it. Wholehartedly recommended replica!It really looks and feels like a real gun. It could fool and intruder though. I think it's a good purchase for fun and safety. This thing looks just like a Python, the only bad thing is the cheap looking grips. It has fully adjustable sights and is pretty accurate at reasonable distances. It's only a BB gun, so it doesn't have enough power to hunt with, unless you're hunting zombies. All in all, I recommend this for anyone who wants an inexpensive revolver or just a nice replica Python. P.S. It looks really nice and feels good in your hand. My middle finger didn't fit comfortably on the grip at first, but I adjusted my hold and now all is good. I really like how smooth it is to use the speedloader and the pellets with this gun. The Wesson models' speedloaders are not user friendly at all. They interfere with the handles of the guns and I've found you are better off just loading the shells individually. I can load that way almost as fast. But the loaders of this Colt work the way they should. Everything is really smooth on this gun. Parts fit is good, not perfect, but good.

The hammer closed a bit too much to the left on my pistol, but I took a bit of metal off with the Dremel and now the clearance is perfect. Good CO2 use, maybe 10 loads, 60 or so strong shots. I do agree that this is not the exact western revolver, but with this revolver, its easy to load the BBs from the front side of the shells when the shells are still in the drum. It has both double and single action. Easy to shoot as it has the proper back cites too. Also it fits like a glove in to the western style holster and that satisfies me to get the western look.
